Wounded Warrior Project  -  Warrior and Family support

Center for Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine (CNRM)  Developing new approaches to brain injury diagnosis and recovery.

Marine 4 Christ –  A Marine’s testimony to Christ; available for speaking engagements.

Hope For The  “Dedicated to restoring a sense of self, restoring the family unit, and restoring hope for our service members and our military families.”

Marine Moms-Bethesda -  Providing comfort food and support at the hospitals during luncheons, and online resources.

Warriors and Quiet Waters -  Provides traumatically injured U.S. servicemen and women from Iraq and Afghanistan with a high quality restorative program, utilizing the therapeutic experience of fly fishing on Montana waters.

Iron Horse Marine Foundation -  Provides emergency financial assistance to wounded active and formerly active members of the U. S. Marine Corps and their families as well as to wounded U.S. Navy Corpsmen, currently or formerly with the USMC Fleet Marine Forces and their families as well as educational scholarship support to those military and their families, and assistance as needed during religious holidays.

Operation Silver Star -  Dedicated to assisting wounded and returning combat military veterans of all eras, assisting these heroes and their families in providing for the financial, material, logistic and information needed and necessary to get them through the most difficult time of their lives to the best of our ability.

Tri-City Wellness Center Veteran Program(need a link.) Provides pro bono services to active duty and Veterans. Save yourself a trip to the VA. (California)

National Military Family Association -  “Mission: To fight for benefits and programs that strengthen and protect uniformed services families and reflect the Nation’s respect for their Service.”  Family oriented.

Veterans Curation Program -  Seeking OEF/OIF Veterans, Veterans with service-connected disabilities and other recently separated Veterans for job placement archiving archeological collections owned or administered by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineeers.

Soldiers Angels -  “May No Soldier Go Unloved.”

Tee it up for the Troops, Inc.-  “Proceeds raised at Tee it up for the Troops events go directly to numerous programs that continue to benefit and support the veterans and their families.”

East Carolina University(need a link) Research with biofeedback; working with wounded Warriors and with MARSOC.

SemperMax/100 Entrepreneurs Project -  “Business Ideas and Inspiration for Wounded Service Members, Veterans and Their Families”

The Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center; Natural History and Caregiver QOL Studies  Current DVBIC studies.

Warrior Institute for Rehabilitation & Optimal Conditioning -  (Their website should be up in August.)

Bob Woodruff Foundation -  “a public education movement of the Bob Woodruff Foundation that educates the public about the needs of injured service members, veterans and their families as they reintegrate into their communities.”

Cause -  “organizes programs that promote recreation, relaxation and resiliency for members of the US Armed Services recuperating from injuries received in support of operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.”

Lash and Associates Publishing/Training, Inc. -  Extensive information n Brain Injury is children, adolescents, adults, and Veterans.

Virginia Wounded Warrior Program -  Home of Virginia’s Veterans and their family of supporters. (This is not a VA program.)

Semper Fi Fund -  Provides relief for financial needs that arise during hospitalization and recovery as well as assistance for those with perpetuating needs.
